Unless otherwise noted, meals end the last full week of Lent and do not include Holy Week.

Fish Chowder and Haddock Suppers

All Saints Parish, Brunswick

Lenten haddock chowder meals will be available for takeout on the Fridays of Lent, 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 132 McKeen Street in Brunswick. The meal will include homemade fish chowder, oyster crackers, and a wrapped dessert. The cost is $10. Please have exact change of a check made out to All Saints Parish. Proceeds benefit Midcoast Hunger Prevention, The Tedford Shelter, the Gathering Place, Habitat for Humanity 7 Rivers Maine, Oasis Free Clinics, and the People Plus Teen Center.

Two hundred portions will be made each Friday and will be distributed first come, first served.

Good Shepherd Parish, Saco

Haddock suppers will be available to take out from the hall of Most Holy Trinity Church, 271 Main Street in Saco, on the Fridays of Lent (February 24-March 31) from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The cost is $12 for adults and $7 for students (age 12 and below). Proceeds benefit St. James School in Biddeford.

St. Anthony of Padua Parish, Westbrook

St. Anne Church - Baked fish dinners will be available in person during Lent on Fridays at St. Anne Church, located on 299 Main Street in Gorham, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The cost is $12 for adults, $6 for children ages 6-12, and free for kids under five. There is also a deal for anyone of any age to enjoy cheese pizza, a drink, and dessert for $8. For more information: visit www.stanthonysparish.org.

St. Hyacinth Church - Fish Dinner Fridays will be held on Fridays during Lent in the church hall of St. Hyacinth, located on 268 Brown Street in Westbrook. Baked haddock, mashed potatoes, veggies, drinks, and dessert will be offered via takeout from 4:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. and dine in from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. The cost is $12 for adults and $6 for kids. All proceeds are to benefit Help Your Neighbor and St. Hyacinth Cemetery.

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church - A haddock dinner sponsored by Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church's Knights of Columbus will be held on Saturday, February 25. Proceeds to benefit Community of the Resurrection.

St. Joseph Maronite Church Hall, Waterville

The Fairfield Knights of Columbus will offer Lenten haddock chowder dinners on the Fridays of Lent beginning on February 24. The meals will be served from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the hall of St. Joseph Maronite Church, located on Front Street in Waterville. The cost is $11.

St. Maximilian Kolbe Church Hall, Scarborough

Knights of Columbus Council 8144 will hold their Lenten baked haddock dinners on the Fridays of Lent, beginning on February 24 and continuing through March 31. The dinners will be held from 5 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. in the parish hall of St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 150 Black Point Road in Scarborough. Meals can be eating in the hall or taken out to go. The meals will consist of baked haddock, macaroni and cheese, potatoes, mixed vegetables, coleslaw, and dessert. Coffee and punch will be available for eat-in meals. The cost is $12 per adult and $5 for children under the age of 5, and $30 per family. Meal tickets will be available in the parish hall with payment by cash or check only.

St. Michael Parish, Augusta

The Knights of Columbus will offer fish fry dinners every Friday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. in St. Monica Hall, located behind St. Augustine Church on 75 Northern Avenue in Augusta, after the presentation of the Stations of the Cross in the church. The dinners include fried fish, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, desserts, and coffee. The cost is $10 per person ($40 maximum for a family). Kids under six eat for free.

 St. Paul the Apostle Parish, Bangor

The Knights of Columbus Pine Cone Council 114 will be serving a simple fish chowder supper in the St. John Church hall, located on 217 York Street in Bangor, following the 5:30 p.m. Mass every Friday of Lent (except Good Friday). There is no charge, but donations are appreciated.

St. Thomas School Cafeteria, Sanford

Lenten baked haddock dinners will be held on the Fridays of Lent at St. Thomas School's cafeteria, located on 69 North Avenue in Sanford, from February 24 through March 31. The meal is served from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The cost is $15 for adults and $10 for children under 12. The events are sponsored by the Knights of Columbus. All Saints Parish, Brunswick

Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 82 Atlantic Avenue, Boothbay Harbor - Stations of the Cross on the Fridays of Lent at 5 p.m. with a simple soup meal afterwards.

St. Mary Church, 144 Lincoln Street, Bath - A simple soup meal will follow 5 p.m. Stations of the Cross on the Fridays of Lent.

St. Patrick Church, 380 Academy Hill Road, Newcastle - A simple soup meal will follow 5 p.m. Stations of the Cross on the Fridays of Lent.

Holy Family Parish, Greenville

Holy Family Church, 145 Pritham Avenue, Greenville - Soup for the soul will follow 4 p.m. eucharistic adoration and 4:30 p.m. Stations of the Cross.

Holy Spirit Parish, Wells

St. Martha Church, 30 Portland Road, Kennebunk - Fridays of Lent at 6 p.m. (preceded by a Lenten supper of chowder and soup)

St. Mary Church, 236 Eldridge Road, Wells - Fridays of Lent at Noon (followed by a Lenten lunch of chowder and soup)

Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, Auburn

Sacred Heart Church, 8 Sacred Heart Place, Auburn - A soup meal at 4 p.m. will be followed by Stations of the Cross at 6 p.m.

Our Lady of Hope Parish, Portland

St. Pius X Church 492 Ocean Avenue, Portland - A simple soup supper will be served in the parish hall on the Fridays of Lent at 6 p.m. followed by Stations of the Cross at 7 p.m.

Our Lady of the Snows Parish, Dexter

St. Anne Church, 64 Free Street, Dexter - There will be Stations of the Cross with soup and bread afterwards, starting on Friday, March 3, at 5:30 p.m.

Parish of the Ascension of the Lord, Kittery

St. Christopher Church, 4 Barrell Lane, York - Stations of the Cross on Fridays at 5:30 p.m. followed by a Lenten meal and brief presentation by Fr. Scott Mower.

Prince of Peace Parish, Lewiston

Holy Cross Church, 1080 Lisbon Street, Lewiston - A simple meal will be served on Fridays following the 4 p.m. Stations of the Cross.  

Holy Family Church, 607 Sabattus Street, Lewiston - A simple meal will be served on Fridays following the 4:45 p.m. Stations of the Cross.  

Holy Trinity Church, 67 Frost Hill Avenue, Lisbon Falls - A simple meal will be served on Fridays following the 5:30 p.m. Stations of the Cross.  

Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 131 High Street, Sabattus - A simple meal will be served on Fridays following the 5:30 p.m. Stations of the Cross.  

St. Athanasius & St. John Church and Hall, Rumford

The Holy Savior Parish is feeding body and soul on Fridays in Lent. Stations of the Cross will be led by Fr. Aaron Damboise at 5 p.m. at St. Athanasius & St. John Church, 126 Maine Avenue in Rumford, followed by a meatless soup meal and guest presentations in the parish hall. Guest presentations are by parishioners who have traveled recently on mission trips and personal pilgrimages.

Our Lady of Good Hope Church, 7 Union Street, Camden - A soup and bread meal will be served on the Fridays of Lent at 4 pm., followed by eucharistic adoration at 6 p.m. and Stations of the Cross at 6:30 p.m.

St. Bernard Church, 150 Broadway, Rockland - A soup and bread meal will be served following 5:30 p.m. Stations of the Cross on the Fridays of Lent Fridays

St. Joseph Parish, Ellsworth

St. Joseph Church, 231 Main Street, Ellsworth - A potluck meatless soup and bread supper will be served at 4:45 p.m. in the parish hall on the Fridays of Lent, followed by the Stations of the Cross at 5:30 p.m. (You are welcome to attend regardless of whether you can bring something to the potluck.)

St. Kateri Tekakwitha Parish, Calais

Immaculate Conception Church, 31 Calais Avenue, Calais - Stations of the Cross accompanied by a soup meal will be offered on the Fridays of Lent, except for March 3.

St. Matthew Parish, Limerick

St. Matthew Church, 19 Dora Lane, Limerick - A soup and bread dinner will follow 5 p.m. Stations of the Cross on the Fridays of Lent

St. Peter the Fisherman Parish, Machias

A simple soup and bread meal will be served in the St. Francis Room at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 8 Free Street in Machias, at 5 p.m. It will be followed by Stations of the Cross in the church at 6 p.m.

"Pancakes with the Easter Bunny" will be held on Saturday, March 25. The event will include an Easter egg hunt, breakfast, and a chance for photos with the Easter bunny. An Easter egg hunt will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the backyard of Holy Name of Jesus Church on 8 Free Street followed by a pancake breakfast and the chance to get a picture with the Easter bunny starting at 9:15 a.m. in the parish hall on 42 Broadway Street.
