About our Catholic Schools

"Be it known to all who enter here that Christ is the reason for this school, the unseen but ever-present teacher in its classes, the model of its faculty, the inspiration of its students."

Catholic schools in the Diocese of Portland are vibrant learning communities serving nearly 2,300 students in Pre-K through 12th grade, at nine elementary/middle schools and two high schools.

Our highly qualified faculty and staff are dedicated to nourishing young people by helping them achieve more in school and life. Our schools inspire students to feel welcomed and cherished for their unique gifts as they become faith-filled Christians, creative and critical thinkers, lifelong learners, and contribute confidently to our Church and communities.

Students at our schools receive a total education. We address not only the educational, physical, and emotional needs of our students but also their spiritual needs, developing the whole person, created by God to know him, love him, and serve him.
