First Sunday of Lent - March 9, 2025

Deuteronomy 26:4-10 - Our salvation is rooted in God’s actions in history. 
Psalm 91:1-2,10-15 - We can trust in God’s love. 
Romans 10:8-13 - Salvation comes to us from Christ’s resurrection
Luke 4:1-13 - Jesus is ever faithful to the Father. 

Second Sunday of Lent - March 16, 2025

Genesis 15:5-12,17-18 - Abraham trusted God totally. 
Philippians 3:17-4:1 - Christ will transform our earthly being. 
Luke 9:28-36 - The community is given notice of the resurrection. 
Psalm 27:1,7-9,13-14 - The Lord who is light brings light in our lives.

Third Sunday of Lent - March 23, 2025

Exodus 17:3-7 - In the desert, Israel thirsted for more than water. 
Romans 5:1-2,5-8 - God has loved us to the point of giving the Son’s life. 
John 4:5-42 - The Woman of Samaria thirsted for eternal life.

Fourth Sunday of Lent - March 30, 2025

1 Samuel 16:6-7, 10-13    The Lord chose David to be a king pure of heart. 
Ephesians 5:8-14 - Christ calls us to be holy and to love tenderly. 
John 9:1-41 - The touch of Christ brings light to one living in darkness. 

Fifth Sunday of Lent - April 6, 2025

Ezekiel 37:12-14 - God will restore Israel to life and to land. 
Romans 8:8-11 - The Spirit in us grants resurrection already.
John 11:1-45 - Jesus gives new life to Lazarus who had died.

Palm Sunday - April 13, 2025

Procession: Luke 19:28-40 - Blessed is he who comes as king in the name of the Lord.
