A "Keep Christ in Christmas" Public Prayer Rally will be held at the Farmer's Market on Main Street in Madawaska on Saturday, December 9, at noon

A Child is Born, which will include the reading of the Christmas story from the Gospel of Luke and music by the St. Louis Catholic Church Choir, will be held December 17 at 2 p.m. at St. Louis Church, 106 Main Street in Limestone.

A Day of Prayer & Discernment for men over 18 years of age who are discerning a possible vocation to the diocesan priesthood will be held Saturday, December 30, 2023, 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at St. John the Baptist Church and St. John’s Community Center, 39-43 Pleasant Street in Brunswick. The day is an opportunity for discerners to pray together, get to know each other, meet diocesan priests, and spend time with the Lord. If you are interested in attending, please RSVP by December 27 by emailing [email protected].

Children with present a Nativity pageant prior to the Christmas Eve Mass at St. Mary of the Visitation Church, 110 Military Street in Houlton.

St. Peter the Fisherman Parish will celebrate the Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe with a potluck luncheon following the 1 p.m. Mass in Spanish at St. Michael Church in Cherryfield. 

A Christmas Mysteries Candlelight Procession will be held at St. Mary of the Visitation Church in Houlton on Friday, December 19, at 5:15 p.m.
