Maine Catholic Women's Conference

The Diocese of Portland in collaboration with the Maine Catholic Women’s Conference Planning Committee will host the 12th Maine Catholic Women’s Conference on May 17, 2025, at the St. John's Community Center, 43 Pleasant Street in Brunswick. The conference is a joy-filled opportunity for Catholic women ages 16 and older to come together to celebrate their Catholic faith. This year's theme is "When Women Pray," focusing on the power and importance of prayer. 

Conference Features

Amber EzeaniThe featured speaker for the 2025 Maine Catholic Women's Conference will be Amber Ezeani, known for her Theology of Heart and Home podcast, which combines theology with practical wisdom. Originally from a small town in Minnesota, Ezeani has been leading and empowering women to grow in their faith for 20 years, both through her podcast and by speaking at Catholic conferences and holding small group sessions. Ezeani holds a degree in theology from Benedictine College.

The conference will also include witness talks, opportunities for the sacrament of reconciliation and private prayer, local vendors, and a closing Mass celebrated by Bishop Emeritus Robert P. Deeley.
