Advent Lessons & Carols - Portland, with Bishop Robert Deeley

With Bishop Robert Deeley presiding, the Cathedral Choir and Scholas will present a Festival of Lessons and Carols on Friday, December 15, at 7 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland. 

The festival, a seasonal tradition dating to the 19th century, shares salvation history, and in a special way the birth of the Savior, through nine Scipture readings or lessons, which are interspersed with carols and choral music.
