School Librarian

St. Michael Catholic School in Augusta, has a job opening for a part time Librarian. The successful candidate must be a team player and will work primarily in the library. The candidate must have a knowledge of children’s books and authors, have strong computer skills, be able to use and maintain an OPAC, and be able to process new books (catalog, cover, tape, etc.).

Job responsibilities include: holding weekly classes, ordering new books and supplies, processing new books, weeding the collection, repairing damaged books, collecting overdue books, some school duties and holding two Book Fairs each school year. Practicing Catholics are preferred.
