St. John’s Catholic School is searching for a caring and kind long-term substitute for our Pre-Kindergarten classroom from August 26 through October. The ideal candidate is a practicing Roman Catholic who is passionate about students and has the ability to reach young children in a positive light as they begin their educational experience at school. Experience managing a classroom with effective behavior management strategies for students ages 4-5 is preferred.

Core Requirements:

· Maine Certification in Early Childhood or Ed Tech III

· Ability to collaborate with other teachers in the primary cohort

· Experience working with young children

Compensation:

· Salary commensurate with education and experience

· Benefits are not available for this long term substitute position
