The Parish of the Resurrection of the Lord seeks a Facilities Manager/Director of Maintenance to oversee, direct, and ensure the maintenance and upkeep of the parish’s buildings and property at its four locations: Holy Family Church in Old Town, Our Lady of Wisdom/Newman Center in Orono, St. Ann’s Church in Bradley, and St. Ann’s Church of the Penobscot Nation.

The Facilities Manager reports to the Pastor and will be responsible for the routine maintenance of all parish buildings, equipment, and property; implementing and executing preventative maintenance schedules for each facility; supervising custodial staff and volunteers to ensure the upkeep and cleanliness of all interior and exterior areas; and engaging contractors/vendors to complete any necessary tasks.

Additionally, the Facilities Manager will work closely with the Pastor, the Parish Business Manager, and the Building and Grounds Committee to plan strategically, to implement cost-saving measures, and to help ensure that the parish continues to exercise good stewardship of its resources.

Successful candidates will have 3-5 years of facilities experience, supervisory experience preferred, skill to do minor repairs, ability to work without direct supervision, and respect for the teachings and organizational structure of the Catholic Church (preference given to Catholic candidates).
