St. John Paul II Parish will present a Vacation Bible School, "Rainforest Falls," exploring the nature of God, from June 22-26, 8:30 a.m. to noon, at St. Macimilian Kolbe Church, 150 Black Point Road in Scarborough.

One of the most beloved traditions in eastern European countries, Święconka, will be renewed with the blessing of Easter baskets at St. Mary Church on 768 Ohio Street in Bangor on Holy Saturday, April 4, at 9 a.m.

Following the 4 p.m. Palm Sunday Mass at St. Catherine of Sienna Church, people can stay and learn how to weave palms into a crown of thorns.
