St. Michael Parish Social Justice Commission presents ‘Politics Aside: The Conversation We Need to Have’ on Saturday, September 28, from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the St. Michael School gym at 56 Sewall Street in Augusta. Given the upcoming election this year, this presentation is open for all to come together to reflect on what our Catholic faith teaches in relation to public life and the common good.
Bishop James Ruggieri will deliver the opening prayer. Keynote speakers will include Catholic Charities USA Vice President Dr. Brian Corbin and the Diocese of Portland’s Public Policy Director Suzanne Lafreniere.
