Eucharistic RevivalLaunch and preparation - June 2022 - June 2023

  • Launched June 19, 2022, with Neophyte Mass and eucharistic procession at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Portland
  • Chancery staff works with parish and Catholic school leaders to "prepare the soil."
  • Regional Parish Leader Days on the Real Presence (TBD Fall 2022)
  • Regional Evenings for Catechists (TBD March 2023)

Year of Parish Renewal - June 11, 2023 - July 17, 2024

  • Focus will be on local efforts with and for parishioners that awaken eucharistic amazement
  • Encourage participation in the National Eucharistic Congress

National Eucharistic Congress - July 17 - 21, 2024

  • Held in Indianapolis, Indiana

Year of Personal Renewal and Mission - July 17, 2024 - June 8, 2025 (Pentecost)

  • Focus will be on individuals and families going out on mission motivated by love of Christ encountered in the Eucharist and equipped through the Catholic community
  • Anticipate Eucharistic Congress in Maine to coincide with 2025 Jubilee Year “Pilgrims of Hope”
