Blessing of the Animals - Fort Kent

St. John Vianney Parish will hold the Blessing of the Animals in the garage of the St. Louis Church rectory on Sunday, October 6, at 1 p.m.
The parish encourages you to bring your pets of any kind, farm animals, or photos of your favorite endangered wildlife species for a blessing. Bring your camera or phone and they’ll be happy to take a “family” photo for you.If possible, bring a donation of cat or dog food for the local animal shelter or food pantry.
For their safety, pets must be leashed or in carriers. Join in this very special occasion to celebrate the gift of God’s special creatures in our lives.
