Blast with the Bishop: A Family Day of Fun & Faith
In his homily on June 1, Pope Leo XIV said “...families become privileged places in which to encounter
Jesus, who loves us and desires our good, always.”
Your family is that privileged place of encounter — encountering the Lord in shared play, work, & prayer.
The Office of Lifelong Faith Formation will be hosting a Diocesan Faith, Family & Fun day entitled "Blast with the Bishop" at St. Mary of the Visitation Church in Houlton on Saturday, August 30th from 9:45 am to 6:00 pm.
The day will include an address by Bishop Ruggieri, guided adoration, breakout sessions by age group, family discussion time, and will conclude with Mass celebrated by Bishop Ruggieri. Join us on August 30 to:
- Learn from Bishop & parents about what works to foster faith in our children and a vibrant Catholic family life in the home.
- Pray with other families.
- Engage in fun, family activities.
