Director of Planned Giving

The Director of Planned Giving will play a crucial role in cultivating and stewarding relationships with donors who are interested in leaving a lasting legacy through planned gifts. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer of The Catholic Foundation of Maine, the Director of Planned Giving will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding planned giving prospects to secure bequests, charitable trusts, life insurance gifts, and other planned gifts in support of our organization's mission.
This is a full time position.
Successful candidates will have Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree or certification in planned giving, fundraising, or a related field preferred; a minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising, planned giving, estate planning or related field with a proven track record of securing gifts; have a strong knowledge of tax laws, estate planning techniques and financial planning principals related to charitable giving and must be an active practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.
