Biography:
I am Yongyee Evans Bongwunyuy, the only child of my parents, Humphrey Ngah and Ignasia Sighan. I was born in Wainamah, a village in the northwest region of Cameroon. I am 26 years old. My parents are still alive.
I am the holder of a first school leaving certificate, ordinary level certificate of education, and advanced level certificate of education. After my high school studies, I applied to start formation into the ministerial priesthood for the Diocese of Kumbo. I was admitted by Bishop George Nkuo in 2016. I began with a prospective year, followed by a spiritual year, three years of philosophical studies, a year of pastoral experience, and presently, I am in third year theology at St. Mary’s Seminary and University in Baltimore. I am studying for the Diocese of Portland, Maine.
