Sister Joyce Keevan, CSJ

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Sister Joyce Keevan, CSJ, also known as Sister Ann Patrick, who died peacefully on Thursday, February 16, 2023. Sister Joyce was 86 years old and had spent 66 of those years as a member of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Lyon.

Sister Joyce was a science teacher, who loved the natural sciences, the outdoors, and animals. She brought her love of nature and animals into the classroom. She taught at St. Rose of Lima School in Jay, St. Michael School and the Academy of St. Joseph in South Berwick, and St. John the Baptist School in Winslow. Her final 25 years in the classroom were spent at Marshwood High Schoo in Eliot.

Sister Joyce's funeral will be celebrated February 24 at 10 a.m. at Notre Dame du Perpetual Secours Church, 116 Silver Street in Waterville. Visitation will be in the church an hour before the Mass.

Please keep in your prayers the Sisters of St. Joseph of Lyon as wells as Sr. Joyce’s family members and her friends.
