The Parish of the Holy Eucharist will hold a Palm Sunday procession outside Holy Martyrs of North America Church, 266 Foreside Road in Falmouth, on Sunday, March 24, at the beginning of the 10:30 a.m. Palm Sunday Mass.
A St. Patrick's Day supper will be held in the hall of St. Philip Church, 404 Goodwins Mills Road in Lyman, on Saturday, March 15, 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Palm Weaving with Fr. Reggie Brissette, a beloved tradition, will be held at 1 p.m. on Palm Sunday in the St. Hyacinth Church Hall in Westbrook.
The Parish of the Holy Eucharist will hold a solemn celebration of Divine Mercy Sunday at Holy Martyrs of North America Church, 266 Foreside Road in Falmouth, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. The celebration will begin with eucharistic adoration and include veneration of the Divine Mercy image, reading from St. Faustina’s diary, the recitation of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, meditation, Litanies of the Sacred Heart and Divine Mercy, and Benediction. The opportunity for the sacrament of reconciliation begins at 1:30 pm and remains throughout the service.
On the Wednesday of Holy Week, the Parish of the Holy Eucharist will offer a Tenebrae service at Sacred Heart Church in Yarmouth from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Youth and adults from St. John Vianney Parish will present the Living Stations of the Cross on Friday, March 22, at 6 p.m. at St. Louis Church, 26 East Main Street in Fort Kent.
Celebrate Palm Sunday by learning how to weave your palm branches in the church hall of St. Matthew Church following the 8 a.m. Mass.
Following the 10 a.m. Mass at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 307 Congress Street in Portland, there will be a Feast of Corpus Christi eucharistic procession with the Blessed Sacrament through the streets of Portland to bear public witness to our faith in the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist.
