Bishop Ruggieri will preside at the installation of Father Robert Lupo as pastor of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish at 6 p.m.

Bishop Ruggieri will celebrate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception at 12:15 p.m. at the Cathedral.

Embracing a tradition that dates to 19th century England, the Portland Peninsula & Island Parishes will present Advent Lessons & Carols on Friday, December 12, at 7 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 307 Congress Street in Portland. Bishop Emeritus Robert Deeley will preside. 

Stella Maris Parish will present "The Way of the Star," a journey with Mary and the Magi on Thursday, December 11, at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Bucksport.

A Mass of Comfort for those who have experienced a loss, whether of a loved one, a job, health, or a pet, etc., will be held at the Christian Life Center in Frenchville on October 29 at 6 p.m.  All are welcome.

Jesus Christ & the Eucharist, a men’s retreat sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, will be held November 22-24 at the Christian Life Center in Frenchville. The retreat will begin with supper at 5:30 p.m. on Friday evening.
