For the first time in more than 60 years, a Knights of Columbus fundraiser will be held in the Machias area on Saturday, June 17.
The Catholic Foundation of Maine (CFM) has awarded more than $1 million and counting in endowment dividends this year, providing welcome assistance to parishes, schools, and other religious organizations.
The shrine is located behind the rectory next to the church with two gatherings planned for the coming days: an outdoor Mass on Thursday, June 8, at 8:30 a.m. and a Mass and prayer service on Saturday, June 10, at 9:30 a.m. All are welcome.

On Corpus Christi Sunday (June 11, 2023) launches the parish year of the National Eucharistic Renewal as Catholics around Maine will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of events aimed to deepen their encounters with Jesus as we receive, adore, celebrate, and live the transformative power of the Eucharist.
Daily sessions will include presentations, Masses, exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Holy Hours, and the opportunity for spiritual direction or confession with Fr. Lane.
