St. John Vianney Parish will celebrate a Mass in honor of Msgr. Jean-Paul Labrie, VF, who is retiring from active ministry as of July 1, 2026. Msgr. Labrie currently serves as pastor of the parish.

On the World Day of Prayer for the Sanctification of priests and on the eve of the ordination of Vinh Nguyen to the transitional diaconate, a Holy Hour & Solemn Vespers to pray for him, for priests, and for an increase in priestly vocations will be held at 6 p.m. in the chapel of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland.

The Youth Ministry of St. Mary of the Visitation Parish and the Knights of Columbus are hosting their annual Mother's Day Breakfast on Sunday, May 10.
