Bishop Ruggieri will preside at the installation of Father Robert Lupo as pastor of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish at 6 p.m.

Bishop Ruggieri will celebrate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception at 12:15 p.m. at the Cathedral.

Embracing a tradition that dates to 19th century England, the Portland Peninsula & Island Parishes will present Advent Lessons & Carols on Friday, December 13, at 7 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 307 Congress Street in Portland. Bishop James Ruggieri will preside.

Stella Maris Parish will host an Encounter Night of Adoration, Praise, and Worship on Friday, November 22, at 6 p.m., at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 64 Franklin Street in Bucksport.

Children will put on a Christmas pageant at 4 p.m. on December 24, prior to the Christmas Mass at St. Teresa Church, 425 South Main Street in Brewer.

A Mass of Comfort for those who have experienced a loss, whether of a loved one, a job, health, or a pet, etc., will be held at the Christian Life Center in Frenchville on February 26 at  6 p.m.  All are welcome.

Jesus Christ & the Eucharist, a men’s retreat sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, will be held November 22-24 at the Christian Life Center in Frenchville. The retreat will begin with supper at 5:30 p.m. on Friday evening.

The St. Luce Repair Committee will present the Festival of Wreaths from November 22-24, 2024, at the Frenchville Community Center, 343A U.S. Route One in Frenchville. Businesses and individuals are invited to decorate and donate wreaths.
