Elementary School Teacher

St. Thomas School in Sanford, Maine is seeking passionate Catholic elementary school teachers to plan and deliver exceptional instruction to students in the intermediate grades implementing Classical Education. The teacher will ensure that all students develop the knowledge, skills, and habits of work and learning to become lifelong learners and productive members of society, steeped in faith. The individual should be knowledgeable about assessment practices and using data to inform instruction. The candidate should have experience establishing a positive classroom culture and be willing to contribute to a collaborative, collegial staff environment. We look forward to you joining our team!

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in education.
• Holds appropriate Maine Department of Education Certification.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with students, parents, community, and school personnel.
