Compline By Candlelight night prayer

The Psalterium Institute will be at St. Joseph's Church at 178 Elm Street in Biddeford this Friday, October 11 at 7pm for Compline by Candlelight night prayer.

Night prayer in the Catholic church is called “Compline” coming from the Latin word for “completion,” and is the prayer at the end of the day before retiring to bed. The event will last roughly 45 minutes and will include periods of silence, various prayers, readings, chants, and choral music.
