Children of Christ the Divine Mercy Parish get into the spirit of All Saints’ Day

In commemoration of All Saints’ Day, children at St. Martin of Tours Church in Millinocket, part of Christ the Divine Mercy Parish, dressed up as their favorite saints.

The children processed into Mass on Sunday, November 4, and were seated around Father Dominic Savio, HGN, who is the pastor of the parish. They then had the opportunity to share their saint’s name and patronage.

Along with the saints in the sanctuary, there were Knights present in the pews. The Knights of Columbus were celebrating their memorial Mass for past Knights. The makeup of the congregation led Father Dominic to comment that if anyone wanted to know where heaven was, they could find it at St. Martin of Tours.  He said, “We have the saints, the angels singing, the guards attending the gate, and all the wonderful people gathered. Heaven is right here.”
