St. Thomas Students in Sanford Sing for Governor Mills, Veterans, and Community

SANFORD---Members of the chorus at St. Thomas School in Sanford performed the national anthem at two major Memorial Day observances on Monday, May 30.
The students sang at a ceremony at the Southern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery and at the conclusion of the Sanford Memorial Day Parade.
“The group was directed by our music teacher, Isabella White, and both observances featured Governor Janet Mills,” said Ericka Sanborn, a middle school teacher at St. Thomas. “Our students, who are asked to participate each year, are honored to take part in this important tradition. We lead and serve our community with integrity and respect, putting our faith into action.”
