Sister Aurore Beaulieu, SCIM

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Sr. Aurore Beaulieu, SCIM, formerly known as Sister Marie Claude.  Sister Aurore died on November 27, 2017, at the youthful age of 95 having outlived her six brothers and sisters.

Sister Aurore entered the Good Shepherd Sisters of Quebec in 1943.  She taught for 29 years in Lawrence and Methuen, Massachusetts, and in Old Town and Caribou, Maine  She was an accomplished seamstress and her second career was to repair and make clothes for children at St. Anne Orphanage which she did for 10 years.  Upon returning to Bay View and then St. Joseph Convent in Biddeford, she made many lovely items to be sold in the gift shop.

Please pray for the repose of Sr. Aurore’s soul and for the consolation of her many nieces and nephews and her religious sisters.
