Sister Elizabeth Madden, SSS

Your prayers are requested for the repose of the soul of Sr. Elizabeth Madden, age 86, a member of the Servants of the Blessed Sacrament, who died September 16 at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. Sister Elizabeth would have celebrated her 65th anniversary of religious profession on November 21.

Sister Elizabeth served the congregation in Waterville, ME; Hammond, IN; Pueblo, CO; and Columbo, Sri Lanka.  She specialized in liturgy and spiritual direction, but filled various positions including superior, treasurer, and director of adoration programs. Upon her return to Maine, she spearheaded adoration programs in Saco and Lewiston

Sister Elizabeth was the 10^th of 12 children. Please pray also for the consolation of her natural and religious families, as well as her many friends and acquaintances.

May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace.  Amen.
