St. James School Choir to perform at “Visions of Sugar Plums” Christmas Concert

The St. James School Choir will be among the featured performers at The Alumni Band's “Visions of Sugar Plums" Christmas concert, which will be held at the Biddeford Middle School Performing Arts Center on Friday, December 8, at 7 p.m.

The Alumni Band, which is comprised of performers from across southern Maine, is well known for its Christmas concerts. The band dates to 1990 when it was formed through the merger of the St. Louis Alumni Band in Biddeford and a band made up of alumni from Thornton Academy in Saco.

The concert will also feature the First Parish Handbell Ringers. The cost of admission is $10 for those aged 12 and older. Tickets may be purchased at Midtown Music, 321 Elm Street in Biddeford, or at the door. There will also be a collection of non-perishable food donations for the Biddeford Food Pantry.

The Biddeford Middle School Performing Arts Center is located at 25 Tiger Way in Biddeford.
