Prince of Peace Parish to host free, Catholic Men's Retreat in Lisbon Falls

The Prince of Peace Men's Group invites Catholic men from around the diocese to join them for a free retreat, entitled “Getting Your House in Order: Knowing Your Identity & Mission,” on Saturday, October 28, at Holy Trinity Church, 67 Frost Hill Avenue in Lisbon Falls.

The retreat will be led by Devin Schadt, a father, husband, speaker, author of several books, and cofounder of the Fathers of St. Joseph, an apostolate dedicated to the renewal of authentic fatherhood in the spirit of St. Joseph. Schadt is also the creator of the video-devotional system LEAD: The Four Marks of Fatherly Greatness.

During the Lisbon Falls retreat, Schadt’s presentations will focus on the themes of “Your Greatest Battle,” “Your Greatest Weapon,” and “Your Summons to Sacrifice: On Being a Husband and Father.”

The retreat will begin with Mass at 8 a.m. and will conclude at 3 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 a.m. for registration, and the sacrament of reconciliation will be available at 7 a.m.  Catholic men around the state are encouraged to attend.
