Prayer service scheduled to pray for the victims of the Lewiston shooting

A prayer service will be held at Holy Family Church, 607 Sabattus Street in Lewiston, on Sunday, October 29, at 2 p.m. to give the community an opportunity to gather to pray for those who were killed and injured in the Lewiston mass shooting and to ask God to lift up all who are suffering, The prayer service is open to people of all faiths.

The service was originally planned for the Basilica of Ss. Peter & Paul but was moved to Holy Family because a citywide vigil will now be held at the basilica, located at 122 Ash Street, at 6 p.m.
