Tenebrae Service - Greenville

A Tenebrae Service will be held on the Wednesday of Holy Week at Holy Family Church in Greenville.

Tenebrae, meaning “shadows” or “darkness”, is an ecumenical service celebration dating to the ninth century that uses candles,scriptural readings, and chants to reflect on the Passion of Christ. Church choirs will participate during the service.
