Community Earth Day Clean Up

In commemoration of Earth Day and to show love and respect for God’s creation, St. John Vianney Parish invites parishioners and community members to come together on Saturday, May 2, to pick up trash within the community.

Parents and children are invited to clean up their own neighborhood or to come together to clean along trails, streams, rivers, roadways, and common areas.

If interested in joining in, come to the St. Louis rectory garage, 26 East Main Street in Fort Kent, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., where you can pick up rubber gloves and trash bags. 

Please wear boots and prepare to get dirty. The cleanup will take place rain or shine.

A pizza lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. at the garage.
