The Portland Peninsula Parish is seeking a detail-oriented part-time bookkeeper to support our financial operations. The successful candidate is a practicing Catholic who supports the mission of the Church, and demonstrates integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling financial matters.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of basic accounting principles and a proven ability to perform account reconciliations accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • Experience with account reconciliation and financial record maintenance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with accounting software (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills

Position Details:

  • Approximately 10 hours per week
  • Flexible schedule
