Assistant Director of Youth and College Ministry

Good Shepherd Parish is looking for a full-time Assistant Director for Youth and College Ministry. This person will be a liaison between Good Shepherd Parish, St. James School and UNE.

The Assistant Director for Youth and College Ministry must be outgoing and engaging. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, outreach to youth and parishioners, and developing, articulating and facilitating dynamic youth ministry programs for middle school, high school and college age students. The Assistant Director for YCM will coordinate and lead activities on and off campuses like hikes, retreats and regularly scheduled gatherings which offer inspiration and guidance to young people, helping them foster a deeper relationship with Christ and encouraging active involvement in parish life. The Assistant Director for YCM will report to the Director of Faith Formation and may assist the Director of FF to facilitate and prepare for faith formation retreats for families.

The position will be full-time, averaging 40 hours a week between office hours and activities and events in the evenings and weekends as scheduled.
