Parish Administrative Assistant is responsible for the daily office needs at Christ the Divine Mercy Parish

Essential responsibilities include:

  • Phone call triage for calls received pertaining to informational questions, problematic issues, as well as handling any calls, both incoming and outgoing as requested. Also checking answering machine and taking care of messages.
  • Send out correspondence from Pastor to Cluster Council, Commission chairs, etc.
  • Enter tithing envelops into the Logos program and print reports for Finance Council.
  • Set up and maintain the Logos Sacramental program to ensure Parish records are up to date.
  • Prepare the Children’s Liturgy schedule each year.
  • Prepares the lay ministry schedules. Includes Eucharistic Ministers, Lectors and Greeters.
  • Assisting all individuals who come into the office with their needs be it Mass cards, information, etc.
  • Helps with the creation of the weekly Bulletin
  • Handling genealogy requests.
  • Coordinates information for baptisms, funerals, weddings and registration of new parishioners.
  • Filing and faxing as needed.
  • E-Mailing as needed.
  • Daily mail distribution as requested.
  • Helps with various preparations for special events including setup, printing, etc.
  • Other duties as requested.
