Christmas Fairs 2025

Many parishes and schools around the diocese are holding Christmas fairs during the months of November and December.

They are a wonderful opportunity to join with other members of the community, as we prepare for Advent and Christmas, and they are valuable fundraisers that help support many church ministries.

Below you will find a list of fairs around the Diocese of Portland. You are invited to visit any of them.

St. Brigid School Harvest Fair - Portland

St. Brigid School, 695 Stevens Avenue in Portland, will hold its annual Harvest Fair on October 18, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This family event includes games, face painting, horse-drawn wagon rides, inflatables for kids, as well as a raffle, buckets of fun grab bags, great food, and more. Corpus Christi Christmas Craft Fair - Winslow

The Corpus Christi Christmas Craft Fair will be held Saturday, November 1, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the St. John Center, 11 St. John Street in Winslow. 

St. Anthony of Padua Parish Christmas Fair - Westbrook

The St. Anthony of Padua Parish Christmas Craft Fair, featuring crafters from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and St. Hyacinth Church, will be held Saturday, November 1, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the downstairs hall at St. Hyacinth Church, 268 Brown Street in Westbrook. There will be jewelry table, a knits & Craft table, baked goods, books, Christmas items, a white elephant table, and more.

St. Raphael Christmas Bazaar - Kittery

St. Raphael Church’s Holiday Bazaar will be held on Saturday, November 1, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the church, located at 6 Whipple Road in Kittery.

Bells of St. Mary's Christmas Fair - Bath

The Bells of St. Mary's Christmas Fair will be held Saturday, November 8, 8 a.m. to noon., at St. Mary Church, 144 Lincoln Street in Bath. 

Red Sleigh Bazaar - Old Town

The Red Sleigh Bazaar will be held November 8, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the hall of Holy Family Church, 429 Main Street in Old Town. Come for food, fun, and fudge!

St. Louis Christmas Fair - Portland

St. Louis Parish’s Christmas fair will be held on November 8, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the St. Louis Church Hall, 279 Danforth Street in Portland.

Holy Spirit Parish Fair - Kennebunk

The Holy Spirit Parish Fair will be held at St. Martha Church, 30 Portland Road in Kennebunk, on November 15 & 16. The fair will feature crafts, jewelry, toys, Christmas items, and more.

St. Anne Church Fair - Gorham

The St. Anne Church Fair will be held Saturday, November 15, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the church hall, located at 299 Main Street in Gorham. The fair will include Gramma’s Attic, a silent auction, raffle baskets, candy, baked goods, and more.

St. Charles Borromeo Christmas Fair - Brunswick

A Christmas fair will be held on Saturday, November 15, 8 a.m. to noon at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 132 McKeen Street in Brunswick.

Holy Spirit Parish Fair - Kennebunk

The Holy Spirit Parish Fair will be held at St. Martha Church, 30 Portland Road in Kennebunk, on November 15 & 16. The fair will feature crafts, jewelry, toys, Christmas items, and more.

Midcoast Tree Festival - Brunswick

The 7th Midcoast Tree Festival will be held at the St. John’s Community Center, 43 Pleasant Street in Brunswick, November 21 to November 23 and November 28 to November 30. The festival features trees decorated by area community organizations, businesses, and individuals, which are then raffled off to benefit local charities and organizations, including All Saints Parish in Brunswick. The grand opening celebration is on November 21, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The festival is then open November 22, 23, & 28, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., November 29, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and November 30, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There is a $2 admission fee for those age 12 and over. Trees are then raffled off, with tickets costing 50 cents each. Just put your ticket in the basket near the tree of your choice for a chance at winning it.

Christmas By the Lake Fair - Auburn

The 51st Christmas by the Lake Fair will be held November 22, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at St. Philip Church, 2365 Turner Road in Auburn. The fair will feature its signature greens and wreaths, the bakery & candy shoppe, hidden treasures, and much more.

Parish of the Holy Savior Christmas Fair - Rumford

The Parish of the Holy Savior Christmas Fair will be held Saturday, November 22, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the hall at St. Athanasius & St. John Church, 126 Maine Avenue in Rumford.

St. Ann Church Holiday Fair - Bradley

The Parish of the Resurrection of the Lord will hold a Holiday Fair at St. Ann Church, 84 Main Street in Bradley, Saturday, November 22, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

St. Christopher Holiday Fair - York

The St. Christopher Christmas Fair will be held on Saturday, November 22, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at St. Christopher Church, 4 Barrell Lane in York.

St. Patrick's Christmas Fair - Newcastle

The Shamrocks of St. Patrick will hold their annual Christmas Fair on Saturday, November 22. in Cheverus Hall, located next to St. Patrick Church, 380 Academy Hill Road in Newcastle. 

St. Paul the Apostle Christmas Fair - Brewer

The St. Paul the Apostle Parish Christmas Fair will be held on Saturday, November 22, 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at St Joseph Church, 531 North Main Street in Brewer. The fair features a chicken pie lunch, decorated wreaths, gift basket raffles, a cookie booth, homemade fudge, Christmas decorations, crafts, white elephant items, and more.

St. Rose of Lima Parish, Jay

The St. Rose Christmas Fair will be held on Saturday, November 22, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the St. Rose Community Center, 2 Church Street in Jay.

The Our Lady of Hope Parish Festival of Trees will be held December 5 and 6, with early tree viewing and raffle tickets available on November 29, 3:30 pm. to 6 p.m., and November 30, 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. On December 5, the festival includes a pork pie dinner in the evening, Christmas carols, and other activities. On Saturday, December 6, enjoy stories with Santa, a pancake breakfast, a knitting table, crafts, jewelry, collectibles, baked goods, the Big Wheel, and more. Then on Saturday evening, there will be a live auction, music, hors d'oeuvres, beverages, and a 50/50 drawing.

The Our Lady of the Angels Penny Sale will be held Sunday, November 30, at Noble Middle School, 46 Cranberry Meadow Road in Berwick. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. Tickets are sold until 3 p.m., with the drawings starting at 3:30 p.m.

The Parish of the Holy Eucharist’s Advent Fair will be held Saturday, December 6, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Sacred Heart Church, 326 Main Street in Yarmouth. The fair will feature a baked goods table, knitted and sewn items, a gift shop table featuring vintage and antique items, jewelry and accessories, fresh tabletop greens arrangements, a tasty haddock chowder luncheon, and an exciting collection of gift baskets!
