Christmas Fairs 2024
Many parishes and schools around the diocese are holding Christmas fairs during the months of November and December.
They are a wonderful opportunity to join with other members of the community, as we prepare for Advent and Christmas, and they are valuable fundraisers that help support many church ministries.
Below you will find a list of fairs around the Diocese of Portland. You are invited to visit any of them.

Holy Spirit Parish Craft Fair - Kennebunk
The Holy Spirit Parish Craft Fair will be held October 26, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and October 27, 9 a.m. to noon., at St. Martha Church, 30 Portland Road in Kennebunk. The fair will feature crafters, Christmas items, books, baked goods, and jewelry. There will also be coffee and doughnuts to purchase in the morning and soups and sandwiches after noon.

Corpus Christi Christmas Craft Fair - Winslow
The Corpus Christi Christmas Craft Fair will be held Friday, November 1, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday, November 2, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the St. John Center, 11 St. John Street in Winslow. The fair includes vendors, crafters, a spaghetti supper on Friday, and a hotdog lunch on Saturday.
St. Anthony of Padua Parish Christmas Fair - Westbrook
The St. Anthony of Padua Parish Christmas Craft Fair will be held Saturday, November 2, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the downstairs hall at St. Hyacinth Church, 268 Brown Street in Westbrook.
St. Charles Borromeo Christmas Fair - Brunswick
The St. Charles Borromeo Christmas Fair will be held Saturday, November 2, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 132 McKeen Street in Brunswick. The fair will feature 25 booths full of great gift ideas, a confectionary table full of candy, fudge, pretzels and more, raffle items, and delicious homemade items for breakfast and lunch.
St. Dominic Academy Holiday Festival - Auburn
The 18th Saint Dominic Academy Holiday Festival will be held Saturday, November 2, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Auburn campus, located at 121 Gracelawn Road. It will feature local vendors, child and adult raffle tables, a winter wonderland, and baked goods. The kitchen will also be open.
St. Raphael Christmas Bazaar - Kittery
St. Raphael Church’s Christmas Bazaar will be held on Saturday, November 2, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the church, located at 6 Whipple Road in Kittery

Bells of St. Mary's Christmas Fair - Bath
The Bells of St. Mary's Christmas Fair will be held Saturday, November 9, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., at St. Mary Church, 144 Lincoln Street in Bath. The fair will feature more than 20 crafters to help with your Christmas shopping, along with Grandma's Attic, Christmas rooms, a cookie walk, and a cafe with chowders.
Fall Craft Fair - Lincoln
The Daughters of Isabella will hold a Fall Craft Fair on Saturday, November 9, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 1003 W. Broadway in Lincoln. The fair will feature crafts, fudge, pies, Rada knives, hot food from the kitchen, and more.
Red Sleigh Bazaar - Old Town
The Red Sleigh Bazaar will be held November 11, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the hall of Holy Family Church, 429 Main Street in Old Town. Come for food, fun, and fudge!
Sacred Heart Ladies Guild Christmas Fair - Hallowell
The Sacred Heart Ladies Guild Christmas Fair will be held Saturday, November 9, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Sacred Heart Church Hall, 5 Summer Street in Hallowell. Old favorites from past fairs will be back, including baked goods, candy, white elephant items, RADA knives, crafts, jewelry, and the Sacred Heart Café, featuring great food at reasonable prices.
St. Louis Christmas Fair - Portland
St. Louis Parish’s Christmas Fair will be held Saturday, November 9, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at St. Louis Church, 279 Danforth Street in Portland. The fair will feature hundreds of handmade craft items, jewelry, knitted items, children's items, and more.
St. Paul the Apostle Parish Auction - Bangor
The St. Paul the Apostle Auction, a live auction fundraiser sponsored by the Women’s Council, will be held Saturday, November 9. Doors will open at 9 a.m. Bidding will run from 9:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. The auction will be held in the downstairs hall of St John Church, 217 York Street in Bangor. It will feature gift cards and services donated by parishioners and area businesses, gift baskets, baked goods, white elephant tables, and raffles, including one for a homemade quilt. The Women’s Council supports parish and community programs.

Our Lady of the Rosary Church Christmas Craft Fair - Sabattus
The Christmas Craft Fair at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 131 High Street in Sabattus, will be held November 16, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The fair will feature 28 vendors, baked goods, and raffles.
St. Anne Church Fair - Gorham
The St. Anne Church Fair will be held Saturday, November 16, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the church hall, located at 299 Main Street in Gorham. The fair will include Gramma’s Attic, a children’s room, a silent auction, a cash raffle, bucket raffles, handmade knits and crafts, candy, baked goods, and a greens table. Breakfast and lunch will be available, and the kids can visit with Mr. and Mrs. Santa.
St. Joseph Women's Guild Fall Fair - Bridgton
The St. Joseph's Women's Guild will hold their annual Fall Sale on Saturday, November 16, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the hall of St. Joseph Church, 225 South High Street in Bridgton. The sale will feature Christmas and holiday items, baked goods, gently used clothing for all ages, Attic Treasures, jewelry, and more. Complementary tea and coffee will also be available.

Midcoast Tree Festival - Brunswick
The 6th Midcoast Tree Festival will be held at the St. John’s Community Center, 43 Pleasant Street in Brunswick, November 22 to November 24 and November 29 to December 1. The festival features trees decorated by area community organizations, businesses, and individuals, which are then raffled off to benefit local charities and organizations, including All Saints Parish in Brunswick.

Christmas By the Lake Fair - Auburn
The 50th anniversary Christmas by the Lake Fair will be held November 23, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at St. Philip Church, 2365 Turner Road in Auburn. The fair will feature its signature greens and wreaths, the bakery & candy shoppe, a puzzle and book room, a country store, a hidden treasures and holiday room, knitted/crocheted fiber arts, quilting and sewing, jewelry, raffles, a lunch canteen, and more!
Midcoast Tree Festival - Brunswick
The 6th Midcoast Tree Festival will be held at the St. John’s Community Center, 43 Pleasant Street in Brunswick, November 22, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.; November 23, 24, and 29, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; November 30, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and December 1, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The festival features trees decorated by area community organizations, businesses, and individuals that are then raffled off to benefit All Saints Parish, Spectrum Generations, and the Bath-Brunswick Regional Chamber.
Parish of the Holy Savior Christmas Fair - Rumford
The Parish of the Holy Savior Christmas Fair will be held Saturday, November 23, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the hall of St. Athanasius & St. John Church, 126 Maine Avenue in Rumford. The fair will feature handmade crafts, fresh decorated wreaths, baked goods, turkey pie lunches, and other fun. For more information, call the parish office at 207-364-4556.
St. Christopher Holiday Fair - York
The St. Christopher Church Holiday Fair will be held Saturday, November 23, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., in the church hall at 4 Barrell Lane in York.
St. Michael School Holiday Fair - Augusta
The St. Michael School Holiday Fair will be held Saturday, November 23, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the school gym, located at 56 Sewall Street in Augusta.
St. Patrick's Christmas Fair - Newcastle
The Shamrocks of St. Patrick will hold their annual Christmas Fair on Saturday, November 23, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Cheverus Hall, located next to St. Patrick Church, 380 Academy Hill Road in Newcastle. The fair will feature beautiful, double-sided wreaths with bows, a regifting table, vendors' booths, a plant table, religious items, baked goods, and lunch from the Shamrock Cafe.
St. Paul the Apostle Christmas Fair - Brewer
The St. Paul the Apostle Parish Christmas Fair will be held Saturday, November 23, 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at St. Joseph Church, 531 North Main Street in Brewer. The fair features a chicken pie luncheon, beautifully decorated Christmas wreaths, gift basket raffles, Christmas decorations, home baked goods, homemade fudge, a cookie booth, a turkey raffle, white elephant items, and more! St. Rose of Lima Christmas Fair - Jay
The St. Rose of Lima Christmas Fair will be held November 23, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the St. Rose Community Center, 1 Church Street in Jay. Turkey pot pies and fish chowder will be served for lunch and sold throughout the day. There will also be a raffle corner with approximately 75 items, a cookie walk, homemade fudge, a candy booth, and more. Proceeds from the fair support Parish Social Ministry which helps people in our community who are struggling and need a helping hand.

Our Lady of Hope Parish in Portland will hold its Festival of Trees on December 6 and 7 at St. Pius X Church, 492 Ocean Avenue in Portland. On Friday evening, enjoy a chicken pie or tourtière (pork) pie dinner, while checking out the various themed trees and joining in Christmas carols. On Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m., children can visit with Santa. There will then be a pancake breakfast at 9:15 a.m. Games, tree raffles, Christmas cookies, and more will be available throughout the day, and then at 6 p.m., there will be a separate $20 ticketed event with hors d’oeuvres, beverages, and music.

Parish of the Holy Eucharist Advent Fair - Yarmouth
The Parish of the Holy Eucharist’s Advent Fair will be held Saturday, December 7, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Sacred Heart Church, 326 Main Street in Yarmouth. The fair will feature a gift basket raffle, vintage items, knitted and sewn handicrafts, baked goods, Christmas treasures, jewelry and accessories, fresh holiday greens, its famous luncheon cafe, and other surprises.
St. Ann Church Christmas Fair - Bradley
The Christmas Fair at St. Ann Church, 84 Main Street in Bradley, will be held on Saturday, December 7, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The fair will feature crafts, a quilt raffle, and more.
