Catholic Charities Maine will be collecting televisions, computers, printers, microwaves, VCRs, and leftover parts from other electronics at St. Martha Church from 8 a.m. to noon.

All altar servers in the Diocese of Portland are invited to participate in the festival inside and outside St. Mary Church. The event features fun competitions, a family barbecue, and Mass with Bishop Deeley.

The pledge drive raises funding for the seven Catholic radio stations in Maine.

Evening will feature presentation by James Sappier, a past chief of the Penobscot Nation, entitled "The Tribes and Us...or...You and I." The presentation beginst at 5:30 p.m. after the 4:30 p.m. Mass at St. Joseph Church.

The dinner, which will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., is also serving as a memorial to the center's late cook, Bob Huot.

The event includes taking a casual walk around the pond and honoring past and present cancer survivors.
