In response to the Holy Father’s recent appeals for peace, Bishop James Ruggieri invites the faithful and all people of goodwill to join him for a Holy Hour for Peace and Reconciliation on Friday, April 24, at 7:00 p.m. in the Cathedral Chapel at 307 Congress Street in Portland.

A Mass of Comfort for those who have experienced a loss, whether of a loved one, a job, health, independence, or a pet, etc., will be held at the Christian Life Center in Frenchville on April 25 at 6 p.m.  All are welcome.

The Westbrook Knights of Columbus will sponsor their annual variety show on Saturday, April 25, in the hall of St. Hyacinth Church in Westbrook.

Bishop James Ruggieri will celebrate the annual Neophyte Mass on Sunday, April 26 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland.

Taizé prayer services are held on the last Sunday of the month at the Christian Life Center in Frenchville.

In commemoration of Earth Day and to show love and respect for God’s creation, St. John Vianney Parish invites parishioners and community members to come together on Saturday, May 2, to pick up trash within the community.

St. John's Catholic School will hold its annual Spring Soirée, "Illuminated by Faith," on May 2 at the St. John's Community Center in Brunswick.

In celebration of the Feast of St. Joseph the Worker, the Sunday, May 3, 10:30 a.m. Mass at St. Joseph Church in Farmington will be offered as a votive Mass in St. Joseph's honor.

Children will participate in a May Crowning ceremony in the Mary Garden at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church on Sunday, May 3, at noon.

On Sunday, May 10, faith formation children will crown a statue of Mary at the conclusion of the 10:30 a.m. Mass at Holy Martyrs of North America Church in Falmouth. Following the crowning ceremony, there will be a procession around the block with the statue of Mary.

All are invited to join faith formation children from Our Lady of Hope Parish for a May crowning ceremony, which will be held Sunday, May 10, immediately following the 9:30 a.m. Mass at St. Pius X Church.

Following the 10 a.m. Mass at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 307 Congress Street in Portland, there will be a Feast of Corpus Christi eucharistic procession with the Blessed Sacrament through the streets of Portland to bear public witness to our faith in the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist.
