St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish will hold a transitus services on October 3 to commemorate the passage of St. Francis of Assisi from earthly life to eternal life. St. Francis died on the evening of October 3, 1226, and it has long been a tradition for Franciscans to gather on that evening to commemorate his "transitus" or "passing over." The service is sponsored by the Holy Family Franciscan Fraternity.

The Our Lady of the Eucharist Parish 51st annual Harvest Supper will be held Thursday, October 12, at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Route 2 in South Lincoln.
The registration deadline for the Fall Sacred Music Conference is October 3. The conference is open to directors of music, cantors, and volunteer choir members from around New England.
The Morning of Reflection with include Mass, the Rosary, the Litany of Loreto, adoration, and Father Patrick's presentation.
The contest seeks to enkindle in the students a love for St. Francis and the beauty of creation.
