The event is a benefit for the South Portland Food Cupboard at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church.

The event benefits Holy Cross School in South Portland, the Scarborough Land Trust, and Project G.R.A.C.E. in Scarborough.

Held on the second Tuesday of the month, the free Matthew Meals are hosted in the cafeteria of St. Thomas School from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. All are welcome to enjoy a free delicious pasta dinner, fresh bread, salad, beverages, and even dessert.

The Diocese of Portland’s Office of the Tribunal will hold a presentation on annulments at St. Matthew Church in Hampden on Thursday, May 15, at 6:30 p.m. There will be a “question and answer” period, as well as an opportunity to speak privately to a canonist at the gatherings.

Msgr. Jean-Paul Labrie will lead a presentation on the Lesser-known Apparitions of Mary on May 30 at the Christian Life Center in Frenchville.

The event in Indianapolis aims to draw the Church into a deeper intimacy with Jesus and inspire thousands to be moved to share the Eucharistic love of the Lord “for the life of the world” (John 6:51).
