Our Lady of Hope Parish will hold its annual “Blue Christmas” service on Wednesday, December 18, at 7:00 p.m. at St. Pius X Church, 492 Ocean Avenue.
A Keep Christ in Christmas Rosary Rally with Christmas carols will be held on December 17, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., on the lawn in front of Notre Dame Perpetual Secours Church in Waterville. All are welcome. Please bring a friend.
St. Anthony of Padua Parish in Westbrook will holds the 5th annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service on January 15, 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., in the hall of St. Hyacinth Church, 268 Brown Street in Westbrook. The day will feature a free pancake breakfast and free services such as haircuts, nail polishing, health and dental screenings, and COVID and flu shots. There will also be information about available community services, and there will be kids' activities.

Catholic churches throughout the world have begun to join in this tradition, and this year the Parishes of the Western Maine Lakes & Foothills will do so as well.
