Monsignor Andrew Dubois, pastor of St. Paul the Apostle Parish in Bangor, was happy to oblige, making a special visit to the program on Wednesday morning to distribute ashes to all the children who wished to receive them.

St. Mary of the Visitation Parish will host its annual St. Patrick’s Day Dinner in St. Anthony’s Hall, 110 Military Street in Houlton, on Monday, March 17, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Young people collected money at several Maine parishes with all donations going to local charities that help tackle hunger.
Registration is being done through the national organizing committee, and Bishop Deeley was able to reserve a limited number of discounted passes for purchase by Maine Catholics.
