Rite of Election and Call to Continuing Conversion - Presque Isle

Bishop James Ruggieri will celebrate the Rite of Election and Call to Continuing Conversion at three churches across Maine during the first weekend of Lent.

During the rite, those who will be baptized and/or receiving the other initiation sacraments at Easter will affirm their desire to fully enter into the life of the Church. The rite will be celebrated on Saturday, March 8, during the 4 p.m. Mass at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Presque Isle, March 9 during the 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church in Winslow, and March 9 at 5 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland.
