Festival of Trees - Portland

Our Lady of Hope Parish in Portland will hold its Festival of Trees on December 1 and 2 in the hall of St. Pius X Church, 492 Ocean Avenue in Portland.

People can stop by to view the trees and to buy raffle tickets to win them on Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The festival will also include a meat pie supper at 5 p.m. on Friday and a Christmas concert at 6:30 p.m. by St. Brigid School students. The cost of the meal is $20.

On Saturday, kids can enjoy breakfast with Santa at 8 a.m. There will then be cookies and ornaments for sale and games of chance, such as the Big Wheel and Lucky 7. Lunch, featuring items such as hot dogs, pizza, and meatball subs, will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The festival will conclude at 7 p.m. with a live auction, which will include hors d’oeuvres, wine and beer, and live music.
