"Participation of the Heart: Fostering Deepering Engagement in the Mass" in Bangor

Saturday, September 9 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM

Pastors, administrators, and others leading efforts for the parish year of the National Eucharistic Revival as well as those serving in liturgical ministries (sacristan, greeter, musician, reader, extraordinary minister of holy Communion, etc.) are encouraged to attend one of the three sessions.

The presenter will be Vicki Klima, a highly regarded liturgist, educator, and author. The purpose is to reflect upon your personal participation at Mass, deepen your understanding of why we gather for worship, and become more mindful of how serving in a liturgical role invites others to living encounters with Jesus in the Eucharist. The cost is free for up to eight people per parish and includes food and a copy of Klima’s recently published book,  Participation of the Heart: Fostering Deeper Engagement in the Mass. Additional people may register as space allows for $25/person and with the approval of the pastor/administrator.
