Pisanki are a special part of the Polish celebration of Easter, and this is your chance to create your own decorated egg using methods such as wax resist and scratching. Refreshments and materials to "write" your egg will be provided.
The Polish custom of decorating eggs for Easter is centuries old. “Written” with designs rich in symbolism such as rebirth, beauty, and fertility, these eggs are often exchanged among family and friends on Easter morning.
