Christian Initiation of Adults and Children Program

The program will be co-facilitated by Monsignor Marc Caron, vicar general and moderator of the curia, and Georgette Dionne of the Office of Lifelong Faith Formation,

The program will be presented twice to accommodate schedules and will be offered in person at the Chancery on 510 Ocean Avenue or online via Microsoft Teams. The sessions will be held on Wednesday, July 19, from 1 p.m. to 2:15 p.m., and on Thursday, July 20, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Participants can choose the date and time that fits their schedule.

The sessions will both include an essential Q & A that clarifies the process of Christian Initiation and why Baptism is the cornerstone of all pathways to initiation; the language of initiation and the engagement of parish, sponsors, godparents; and the functions of the Office of Lifelong Faith Formation in support of parishes at the center of the process of Christian Initiation.
