Are you seeking more than just a job? Are you called to serve Christ by helping those in need? St. Martin's and St. Catherine’s in Lewiston Maine are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team.

We provide critical care and shelter to men and women experiencing homelessness, offering a safe place and staff support. Staff works with referral sources and case managers to help our guests end their own homelessness. Individuals need to have a willingness to assist with daily shelter operations including meal preparation, resident support, and maintain a welcoming environment.

Positions Available

Live in Staff: A unique opportunity to fully immerse yourself in our mission, offering round the clock care and support to our guests.This position offers room, board, and a stipend. This is for our women’s shelter. This is an ideal opportunity for a single person struggling with the high cost of rent.

Hourly/per diem positions: Numerous positions open in both shelters to work set schedules or fill in when needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to prep and prepare meals, clean common areas, and work independently.

Previous experience working in social services, ministry, group homes or private patient care.

A caring and patient demeanor, with a heart for those in need.

Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

The live in positions cannot accommodate families or pets.
