Witnesses of Hope Youth Jubilee Event

Is being optimistic the same as being hopeful? How do we have hope in our challenges? How can we become witnesses of hope?
Those are the questions that will be explored during Youth Jubilee-Witnesses of Hope, which will be held April 26 as part of the Church's celebration of the Jubilee of Teenagers.
Throughout the jubilee year, the Holy See set aside special days to highlight the people and ministries that bring hope to the world and contribute to the vitality of the Church, and it designated April 25-27 as days to recognize teens.
High school-aged youth (Grades 9-12), as well as their parents and adult chaperones, are invited to attend the Youth Jubilee, which will be held at St. Joseph Church in Brewer. The day will include presentations, small group discussion, music, prayer, and liturgy.

The featured presenter will be Oscar Rivera (aka "TwoTen."). Rivera is the director of youth ministry in Fall River, Mass.
