A Mass for the repose of the soul of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI will be celebrated on Monday, January 9, at 4 p.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Dover-Foxcroft.
Attorney and Knight of Columbus Robert Boudreau will serve as the presenter and will discuss pertinent information regarding wills, income tax, estate tax, estate planning, probate, transfer on death deed, revocable or irrevocable living trusts, durable power of attorney, health care directives, living wills, the Secure Act, 401k and IRAs, nursing home expenses, and more.
The free event offers a pancake breakfast, haircuts, health and dental screenings, COVID-19 and flu shots, and activities for children. Information and referrals to services offered Maine, including free financial education and legal services, will be available.
The ACTS Ministry of Our Lady of Hope Parish in Portland and Parish of the Holy Eucharist in Falmouth invites everyone to attend a Sanctity of Life Prayer Service, which will be held Sunday, January 25, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., at Holy Martyrs of North America Church, 266 Foreside Road in Falmouth.
The free meals are served on the second Tuesday of the month and will now be offered in the cafeteria at St. Thomas School on 69 North Avenue in Sanford from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. All are welcome to enjoy a delicious pasta dinner, fresh bread, salad, beverages, and even dessert. Previously, the meals were served at St. Ignatius Gym.
